A cheap BBQ cover can do a basic job. With Grilliant, every detail was chosen to improve the look, feel and quality of something that lives in your outdoor space.
From the woven fabric to the protective backing and reinforced seams, here’s what goes into your cover.
UV-resistant woven olefin absorbs very little water, helping the outer shed rain and dry readily after showers. Its textured weave and natural drape combine practical outdoor performance with a finish that complements your space.
Beige and white dyed yarns create the stripes as the fabric is woven, rather than being printed onto the finished surface. The pattern is part of the fabric itself, giving it a richer, more premium finish.
The woven outer helps shed moisture, while a flexible TPU backing beneath it is designed to stop rain passing through to your BBQ.
Flat-felled seams enclose the fabric edges, while two rows of stitching strengthen the joins and help reduce fraying as the cover is lifted on and off.

Our story
So Grilliant began.
Our BBQ sits where we can see it from inside our Melbourne home. Around it were the things we loved. Outdoor furniture, greenery, pots and a striped cushion. And then there was the black BBQ cover. It protected the BBQ, but every time we looked outside, it felt like the one thing that did not belong.
We kept wondering why something that spends so much time in the backyard had never been designed with the backyard in mind. So we made the BBQ cover we wanted to look at.
We could not find a BBQ cover that belonged in the backyard, so we designed one that did.

Yes. Every cover includes an adjustable storage bag made from the same striped fabric, with a drawcord closure. It gives you a matching place to store the cover while your BBQ is in use.
Brush away loose dirt, then spot clean with mild soap, lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Rinse away soap residue and let the cover air dry fully before storing it in its matching bag.
Always let your BBQ cool completely before covering it.
We chose premium woven olefin for its strength and suitability for outdoor use, with fade and UV resistance in mind. A protective inner backing adds another layer of protection for your BBQ.
For our first release, we are keeping things simple with one size and our signature beige and white stripe. We are noting requests for other sizes as we plan what comes next.
