A woven outer, a protective backing and carefully finished seams. Here’s what goes into the cover.

Woven to belong outside.

Olefin is a practical choice for outdoor textiles because it absorbs very little moisture and is naturally resistant to staining, mildew and fading. It is also lightweight and durable, which is why it is widely used for outdoor upholstery.

For Grilliant, we use a UV-resistant woven Olefin outer to give the cover a textured, fabric-like drape. The beige and white yarns create the stripes as the fabric is woven.

A protective layer beneath.

The woven outer helps shed moisture. Beneath it, a flexible TPU backing is designed to stop rain passing through the fabric to your BBQ.

A considered finish.

Flat-felled seams enclose the fabric edges. Two rows of stitching strengthen the joins and help reduce fraying as you lift the cover on and off.

Will the light fabric be hard to keep clean?

Brush off loose dirt, then spot clean with mild soap, lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Rinse away soap and let the cover dry fully before storing it.

Always let your BBQ cool completely before covering it.

Is there somewhere to put it while I’m cooking?

Yes. A matching storage bag is included. It is made from the same striped fabric, with a drawcord closure, so the cover has a place to go while the BBQ is in use.
